In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on a unified platform in Lithuania exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from 6,639 in late June and dropping to 3,721 by the end of September. Despite this, its weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 100K mark, with a slight dip in early September to 92.5K before recovering to 95.1K.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads mid-July, peaking at 12.1K, before settling down to around 2.7K by the end of September. Its weekly revenue followed a similar pattern, peaking at $86 in late August. Weekly active users also saw a peak in late July at 13.5K, before stabilizing around 5.2K towards the end of the quarter.

Google Maps Go showed a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at 4.4K in late June and reducing to 1.8K by the end of September. GPS, Offline Maps & Directions maintained a steady decrease in weekly downloads, from 955 in mid-July to 347 by the end of September. However, weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 5K throughout the quarter.
